Along the Charles River, near Harvard Square. 3 miles into 10 mile run. Cramping up, shin splints back with a vengance. Should I keep going?

--
UPDATE: The first few miles were tough, but I held on and completed my run.  Dispite getting lost in Cambridge side streets and my Garmin going on the fritz, I managed to complete about 11 miles.

Comments:
Run Josh Run.

Say, do you watch 'Run Lola Run' or 'Marathon Man' for inspiration? How about 'Chariots of Fire?'

Aw, it's a little late for me to weigh in on this. (I mean, I hope you're not still doubled over near Harvard Square, waiting for input from the blogosphere.)

So, what did you do?

Way to go! I am sorry that the darn shin splints are catching with you. Ice, ice, and more ice!

Run Lola Run...ironically saw that for the first time Saturday. Was wacky and totally enjoyable. Would be great iPod music for a city run.

That is great!! Congrats on your accomplishment..

Man, you are looking skinny!
